Well, who would of thought that yours truly could have swindled a press pass for Toronto’s LG Fashion Week? Last week, I interviewed Dwayne Kennedy of The Fashion Collective for an article for Woman.ca, an online publication owned by Transcontinential (the same company that produces Elle). After the article ran, the lovely Kate Mullin, PR agent and creative director of the TFC, offered me a press pass to cover the week’s events! It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to to it!
Tonight I watched two shows: IZMA and JUMA, as well as sat across from the infamous Jeanne Beker (behind the scene pics on my Facebook album). Click here to see more pictures from IZMA
Izzy Camilleri and Adrian Mainella have collaborated to make IZMA, a self-described “fur innovation” line. The brand offers luxury fur at attainable prices, providing Canadians with regal winter wear.
The women’s fall collection was absolutely luscious. The models recalled 1930s femme fatals, with big hair and scarlet lips, and they walked the runway with heartbreaker attitude. These ladies would out their cigarette in your heart and not even blink. Fierce.
